How Goes the Job Search?

His:
The good news is that there seems to be some potential out there – both for Deb and I. And also lots of advice, albeit contradictory.

One recent article in the Wall Street Journal provides advice for how to keep your resume out of the black hole of internet job search sites. Funny, I had used those exact words several years ago to describe the process of applying online. Have a read. Some good stuff in here.

And then, just when we thought our CVs were pitch perfect, we came upon this. No need for the resume! Create a youtube video instead. (How about a blog?) This is interesting, especially for a former film major. Maybe we can pull out the Flip camera and get the kids involved. Last week’s Modern Family had the kids praying their parents wouldn’t go viral. Our oldest, however, would LOVE it. (I can’t think of anything more terrifying.)

So, you know us. What would you put in the video?

Blessing – I managed to shoehorn an old ping-pong table into an entirely too-small room and the boys are LOVING it. Table tennis scholarships, anyone?
